Remember the days when baseball was fun?
Little League players loved the game and loved spending time with their teammates. Then the high school days came around --the fun and love for the game disappeared faster than "free pizza on a college campus". Players and coaches became overly obsessed with winning titles, boosting personal stats, and putting all their hopes in the professional athlete field.
I've got good news for you! The baseball fun you loved so much during your Little League days is back! The National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) offers college students the opportunity to play fun, competitive baseball....again.

Club Baseball players are not looking to make their stats appealing to college or professional scouts (they are already in college and have other professional aspirations); these players are playing the game they love and having fun doing it.
Additionally, Club Baseball truly supports the idea of a "Student-Athlete". College students live a busy life where academics are a priority. Club Baseball offers an active, social, and learning experience as a supplemental activity to academics. First, the sport itself provides the physical activeness. Second, the teammate bonds offer the social outlet. And lastly, club baseball teams are completely student-run organizations. The final product created: while enjoying the active and social outlet, the players are also gaining professional skills managing a team of people.
The most important thing to remember: Club Baseball brings back the "pureness" to the sport that is lost during the high school years. The players play because they want to, there are no other incentives. And in return for this pureness, club baseball players are rewarded with teammate brotherhood, strong competition, inside experience of running a team/business, and plenty of good times enjoyed through the game of baseball.
